Syncthing API Security

Hey all,

Does the REST API provide a method of request authentication? My current use-case is to have Syncthing running in a pod within Kubernetes, with a service in front of it which accepts incoming API requests. Besides providing an API key as an HTTP header, is there a method for authenticating incoming requests?

What does this mean? The authentication authenticates the requests.

I’m just asking if there are more secure ways of serving the Syncthing API through HTTPS, or by adding on extra methods of authentication.
