That happens when the app was not stopped before updating. (Android does not kill the syncthing binary, so it keeps running and blocks the port).

I have a fix for this on the other branch (I should really put it onto master). As a workaround, you can stop syncthing before updating, or restart your phone after the update.

Thanks. Rebooting has no effect. Once the update is complete, the “Sycthing is stopped” message persists, irrespective of reboots.

It might be a different error then. Can you post a logcat?
