Syncing to external drive, if I move that drive to another PC, will it pick up files already in place?

Hi there,

I currently have Syncthing syncing to an external 4 bay hard drive enclosure.

I wondered - if I want to change the PC the external enclosure is connected to, and then I install Syncthing on that new PC, and then add the folders, will Syncthing know the files are already in place on the drives in the enclosure? Or will it need to re-sync all the files?

It will scan the files on disk and not transfer what’s already there.
