Sync issues after upgrade to 0.14.31

I’ve been using synthing for synchronizing my code since a couple of months. Today after upgrading to latest 0.14.31, it leaves some files unsynced and other files that in fact were changed are neither synchronized nor reported as synchronized.

Is this problem known to anyone? Any simple workarounds for this?

It is most likely not related to the 0.14.31 upgrade itself, but caused by something else.
