Support for permissions and users?

I use Unison to sync my OSX machines. It works well, although it’s not designed to handle continuous syncing with auto-resumption, so I’m looking at alternatives.

That said, it does do things like file permissions, and security groups. (it downgrades gracefully if a target OS does not support a feature, eg Windows)

Is this something Syncthing might support either currently or in the future?

Permissions are transfered, if the file system supports it. I don’t know if the checkbox “ignore permissions” results in not even trying to set them.

Ownership is not transfered, instead the user/group of the syncthing process is used. As far as I know there are no concrete plans to change that.

Does this feature support in the latest version of syncthing (V0.14.52)?

Thanks
