SSD and block storage setup

I’m going to rent a VPS with a main SSD drive and then add block storage for all of my files to sync. The VPS provider states that the block storage drive will show up as a mounted disc image.

I’m assuming I install syncthing in the recommended way on the SSD?

And then how would I assign the main sync folder to the block storage drive?

It’ll be like any other disk, you add the folder somewhere underneath its mountpoint.
