Slow loading of GUI

Yes, all are up to date!

Hm, and you think after this problem would be solved? But why it came so fare? Because indexing again needs maby two days

No it wouldn’t as the database contains invalid values. As I’ve said, start that specific build on all your machines to clean up the invalid entry from the database, and then you can continue using the latest version.

So, a new status-update  After initialising two days, it seems to work now  It is syncing at the moment! Yhaa!!

So as I observed, the behavior with changing the access-rights where on two machines the same. I’ve synced also before several folders with a Mac-computer. The datas where firstly on the Mac. After syncing with the server, the server synct back to the mac the access-rights and after that I had on my Mac no access-rights to open the folders. After changing this permissions with root-access, it worked.

With the two servers, im syncing now was the same problem. Firstly the datas where inicialised on the main server, then it began to sync und after a while, the second server synced back the access-rights (access for no one) and then the problems on the main-server started. Now I only changed all permissions back, as it was at the beginning and than syncthing started again initialising and now it seems to work! So there is somewhere a bug I think

Maybe you will find it with my observations.

This could be a bug which was addressed in the new version, but this has nothing todo with this thread as this thread is about slow syncing speeds while the UI is open.

By the way, it would be cool, if it would be possible to delete the index-directory over the UI

In some sense you can, you just remove the folder, restart, and add it back again.

Yes, ok  But for a normal user it’s not very intuitive  Maybe as an option in the UI to reinitialise a specific folder would be cleaner, in my opinion.
