I recently started using Syncthing to keep files on multiple laptops in sync with each other. Part of my setup also includes a Raspberry Pi running Syncthing that keeps itself synchronized with all the other peers on my network. I run incremental backups on the Raspberry Pi to tar files at regular intervals. Everything has been working smoothly and I have not yet had the unfortunate situation where I needed restore from a backup. If I do need to restore at some point, how do I restore without creating a situation that results in conflicting files with the rest of the peers?
If everything is in sync restoring should not cause conflicts.
