Reinstall OS, re-sync folder?

Hi all!

I have a big folder sync via Syncthing on different computers (A and B). Now I had to reinstall the OS on B and I need to reinstall Syncthing to keep a folder in sync with A.

Can I just add the folder on B and share it? Will that ‘merge’ with no problem in case there’s changes made on A?

I just don’t want to re-download such a big folder form the machine A. Thanks!

It probably will, but just for our own safety mark one folder as send only.
