Portable Syncthing

I use Slat AT travel router from GliNET. It runs Syncthing on the router. the router accept micro sd and USB hard drive and can be seen as shared drive (Samba). Can I alter Syncthing to synchronise to the hard drive directly without the computer?

Welcome here @Macca !

Please make an attempt at more clearly describing what you want.

  • On which devices do you want to run Syncthing?
  • Which drives are involved and where are they connected?

I use Syncthing to sync files on my work hard drive (Samsung T7) using my laptop to my home server that runs Zima OS (a linux server). As Glint travel modems has Syncthing plug ins, Can I sync the files from the hard drive connected to the modem without the laptop?

If the Glint has Syncthing and storage (internal or USB-conencted), then it is a device like any other.

I understand that this is a theoretical answer, and you are most likely right. The question is “HOW”. so many users in GLiNET and Syncthing have been looking for the step wise approach but no one succeeded to do it.

Seems like you’re the only person here with that type of system, so you’re better off asking at a forum for users of this particular device on how to download and start a binary on that platform, because that is the main thing you need to figure out.

What have you tried so far?
