Out of Sync Items message but files are on both sides

Hi, since a while I have the message (only on the send-only folder’s host)

If I click on the “13 Items” link I see files that syncthing claims to be “out of sync” since May 8 2025; but files are present on both sides

• The beginning of the path is redakted. Does that part contain any “strange” characters, which might not be allowed by the file system on this device?
• Does the path “[redacted]/markdown” have more files and directories which does sync OK?

The directory redacted has only underscore but the directory in the screenshot (Linux - Shel ….) contained spaces that are handled by Linux but syncthing went in error

Same thing with filenames with dot

Now I renamed the directories and the files without spaces and dots and syncthing synced all files and directories

Good that it works for you now!

FYI: Syncthing can handle spaces, underscore and other characters without any issues. (Actually, I think that Syncthing does not impose any such limits at all.) It is extremely likely that the root cause lies somewhere else.
