Moving .stignore and .stfolder elsewhere ?

Hi,

To avoid cluttering the root of a folder and to keep it nice.

Is it possible to tell Syncthing to create its .stignore and .stfolder files somewhere other than the root of the folders it synchronizes?

You can’t do anything with .stignore. When it comes to .stfolder, you can experiment with https://docs.syncthing.net/users/config.html#config-option-folder.markername, however this is usually not the best idea unless you’ve got a real reason to do so, e.g. as the specific case with read-only folders explained in the Docs.
