I’ve noticed that first few nodes on https://relays.syncthing.net always have more sessions than connections. How is this possible? Is this a bug? Can one connected client have many sessions at once?
Right now the first relay on the list has 19077 sessions and 1243 connections.
Probably something with their machines terminating connections in a weird way.
There were also leaks like this, that we fixed a couple of years back. But these things don’t auto upgrade and pretty much never require any human intervention so it’s likely they’re on autopilot since forever with old code.
