Limit Of 50 Peers Per Tracker?

Hello,

We just installed BTSync on about 130 windows players, but found a limit of 50 peers per tracker. The limit increase is being considered by the developers.

Is there a similar limitation with Syncthing?

No, there’s no such limit. Even if there were, since you build the network “manually” with syncthing (there’s a bad side to this, obviously), you can chose which peers connect to each other, forming perhaps small clusters each connected to a “local master”, where those are connected to each other, etc.

Like, if you had two offices, perhaps you’d set up one server in each office with syncthing connecting them, then a bunch of laptops in each office that are connected to the server in that office only.
