Laptop stopped syncing in december 2017

I have 3 machines running syncthing and syncing various things. 2 of them are on wired lan and the laptop is on wifi. on the 12:th of december 2017 the laptop stoped syncing. All machines are running latest version (0.14.43). All machines have both global and local discovery enabled. I suspect that local discovery is not working for the laptop because of lan/wifi partition in the router (other forum posts indicate this). However global discovery seems also not to be working. With everything on (global+local) i get “Discovery 1/8” in the GUI (upper right panel). If I disable local discovery i get “Discovery 0/6” (red text).

If I run curl against discovery URL:s in the log I get either “Not Found” or certificate error, but I dont know if I’m supposed to be able to do that. I have updated the certificates on the laptop (xubuntu machine) with update-ca-certificates and also apt get ca-certificates, but no new certificates was found (and none revoked). I dont know if this is the right certificate store.

Any advice? Log from the machine below

Looks like firewall is preventing syncthing from connecting out anywhere, or HTTP proxy setup is required.

You are right. I had a surprise firewall locally on the laptop. I’m not sure how it got there. The laptop is a cheap 2013 vintage chromebook with xubuntu running under crosh. Maby the firewall was installed with a chromeos update. I have a process called firewalld that resurects anytime I try to kill it. Installing Iptables and opening everything did the trick thogh. Thank you!
