Hello,
I installed syncthing on 2 computers (windows) and 1 QNAP.
I created all nodes on every computer and on qnap.
I create a share folder with the same name on each computer
All those are on the same local network
But none of the computers saw each other… They appear Disconnected
I don’t understand, could you please Help ?
Thanks

Go to folder settings and make sure you have selected all the devices that you want to share the folder with.

Does it work if you enter the node ip addresses for each device rather than use auto discover?

for information, 192.168.1.100:8090 is one of my IP, but the device ID 4I6YGK7-… does’nt match with none of my devices
It seems that you’ve not added or added the wrong device id on one of your nodes

the device ID of the device on 192.168.1.100:8090 is SCRM4Z6-OXBYYBV-D4JTFHS-3YUVNL5-5HOHPQL-B636TMW-HHRCOGV-WBUNNQZ and not 4I6YGK7-P4XRZHY-FWUODBG-YZWXN7M-6KT7EYG-4PBFE3P-55MOHTJ-WRHJTAN
I foud it by clinking on Config > show ID
is that correct ?
Well the log says otherwise.

I have got a strage connextion from my ip 192.168.1.23:8080
[MMZH7] 22:21:50 INFO: Connection from 192.168.1.23:8080 with unknown device ID BJFXKKY-S47CRC4-BM4ORO2-SIABDBT-HK4CY2A-FDQZTWU-MVKRAXM-U5JHOAG; ignoring
The device ID should be YLB6BF7-KZZFFKR-3XJ3WHF-VTVZBP2-2AFLN6H-KPZH7FZ-GI5Q6MD-JBKIWAX
and not BJFXKKY-S47CRC4-BM4ORO2-SIABDBT-HK4CY2A-FDQZTWU-MVKRAXM-U5JHOAG
and the same appear on IP: 192.168.1.29:8080 it look like device ID is changing !

You are configuring your devices to connect to port 8080. Port 8080 is the web GUI, which does have a certificate (and thus a device ID), but certainly not the expected one. You want port 22000, or simply leave the port blank.

Thanks it working with IP only (no port)
But, why does’nt it work with “dynamic” ???
Do I have to force IP ?? Because I am on DHCP on both of my computers ?
