initial directory scan on another PC

Hi, I have a Wetek HW (specs see below) running Syncthing. It should sync a 66GB directory. The initial scan is really slow. I.e. 7% took 8hrs, so I aborted.

The directory is on a USB drive and I already filled it from another PC. Is it posible to run the initial scan as well on a different PC and afterwards connect the USB drive again to the Wetek HW.

In principle you can play tricks with copying the index database, but it’s not tested for, you might screw things up and have Syncthing delete your files, and I generally don’t recommend it.
