Identical Files (Different Paths) Downloaded Simultaneously

Love the tool blah blah blah…

I’m regularly seeing instances where I have the same file in multiple places in a peer’s filesystem, being downloaded multiple times simultaneously (I have Copiers set to 0).

I’ve md5’ed both files, and they are identical.

Am I interpreting this correctly and, if so, (and probably not using the exact terminology) is it straightforward to check if blocks are already queued for download with another copier before adding them to another queue?

Zero copiers means the default, which is two, so you get two files concurrently handled. You probably want to set it to one.

(The other check you’re suggesting is probably not entirely straightforward.)

That makes sense, considering the size of many of the files I’m using.
