How to upgrade syncthing; (Ubuntu)

Hello, how is syncthing gets upgraded; I installed with adding the ppa first. Should it get upgraded with the rest system stuff or manually; Ubuntu (18.04) specifically. Thank you in advance for any replies

By ppa, do you mean apt.syncthing.net? Anyway, whenever you add something to apt sources, they will get updated through apt (and whatever client for it you use), which usually is invoked manually on personal computers (you could setup unattended-upgrade for auto updates of syncthing).
