How to remove extra Syncthing listener?

On Windows 11, I accidentally have Syncthing starting up automatically and listening on port 54923. Great, I can access the web GUI at localhost:54923.

Thing is, I have all my stuff set up on the default port of 8384. Somehow somewhere I got messed up. When I open Syncthing.exe, it loads up 54923 no problem. Some time after, port 8384 opens. I have not yet found the reason for that.

Can someone point me in the right direction about how to remedy this? Ideally I would get rid of the 54923 port listener altogether, as I don’t use it at all.

Thanks for reading.

Sounds like you have two different Syncthing instances running on your Windows device. Find them both and turn off the one that you don’t want to use. Check Starting Syncthing Automatically — Syncthing documentation to start with, you may have on instance starting in the Startup folder, and one starting in Task Scheduler.
