Hi, I use Syncthing-GTK.

Thx for the help.

I can read this:

Use the “—-no-console” command line switch. See [Syncthing — Syncthing documentation](https://docs.syncthing.net/users/syncthing.html) .

I’d strongly suggest to use code formatting on the forum 😅.

Just in case, it should be:

```plaintext
--no-console
```

Please keep in mind though that this only works when using the old Command Prompt as the default console and not the new Windows Terminal.

</div>

Thx for the help. How I do to use the old command prompt as the default console? 🙂

I have created a shortcut with “R:\Installation\Office\syncthing\syncthing.exe --no-console”, but the apply doesn’t remain.

You can do it in the Windows Settings:

It works! Thx you very much!

Thank you for that correction sir! I will strive to remember to use code formatting in the future.

Try this, works for me: [Win 10 and 11 updates breaks –no-console](https://forum.syncthing.net/t/win-10-and-11-updates-breaks-no-console/20290)

</div>

Also, in case it might be helpful: [Syncthing Windows Setup](https://github.com/Bill-Stewart/SyncthingWindowsSetup/) can create a scheduled task that runs at logon and doesn’t display the console (it does this using the [**stctl**](https://github.com/Bill-Stewart/stctl/) utility).
