# "Given name 'Xyz' differs from name 'xyz' in file system" error

Syncthing as of v1.9.0 should now deal with case sensitivity issues by itself (see the changes under [Syncthing v1.9.0](https://forum.syncthing.net/t/syncthing-v1-9-0/15579)). This means that the old workaround should not be required any longer.
