I have been using syncthing for a while and am writing an internal application for my organization whereby it would be nice to access the “cloud” of syncthing but not actually mirror that contents locally.

Ideally, I’d poll the event API to get when files are added, modified, or deleted, then do another API call to retrieve the contents of that file.

This seems theoretically possible (contents of the file needs an API endpoint as far as I can tell), however I don’t know if this is a “supported” use of syncthing or not.

Thanks!

Or just expose the files via a web server …
