ATM Syncthing for android can only export configuration and identity files to a predefined directory, in an unencrypted format. I think this is an issue that adds complexity and exposes private information to any other apps that have access to the filesystem. It’d be much more convenient to be able to export and restore these files as an encrypted archive, eliminating the aforementioned compromises. I hope the devs consider adding this in a future release.
