# Error after upgrading to 0.11.2 and/or 0.11.3

[tabris@ENE ~]$ syncthing 20:09:53 FATAL: Invalid version string “02a5d4e-dirty”; does not match regexp ^v\d+.\d+.\d+(-[a-z0-9]+)\*(+\d±g[0-9a-f]+)?(-dirty)?$

Any idea about that ? Downgrading solved the problem.

Distro: Chakra OS.

Did you upgrade via distro package manager or via syncthings internal mechanisms?

Whoever built that syncthing binary did it wrong and didn’t test it afterwards.
