I installed the .deb with apt but the service does not startup automatically and I don’t see the service listed when running systemctl -a
Is that how it is supposed to be? Am I supposed to do something to enable the service?
Syncthing runs as a user specific service so it doesn’t make sense to enable something by default. See the systemd section here, skipping the step about copying unit files as the package installer already did that.
