I would like to know if it is possible to create a folder and synchronize it without going through the web interface?
I would automate with a bash when starting the machine.

Use the rest API. The docs are on the docs site.
I looked at the REST API doc before you ask, but I do not understand it 
Well then the only other way is by modifying the config.xml file by hand or trying to use stcli (which hasn’t been maintained and probably doesn’t work for many purposes)
