Hello, i’m just trying syncthing and i’m beggining to sync files, but i noticed that all traffic is sent to mail.vrnw.org instead of direct connection to my remote devices.
Is this normal?
If you are connected via relay, yes, as we can’t say where the relay is. A relay is used if we cannot connect directly. You can read more about relays and security in the docs.
Thanks for your kind answer, now i know why it happened. I moved the configuration folder (-home) and it changed the ports, my firewall was not configured for the new ports so syncthing started using the relay servers.
