I am not able to upgrade via the command line.
syncthing -upgrade-check gives 20:01:15 FATAL: Upgrade: upgrade unsupported
Your Syncthing was compiled without support for upgrades. Check how you’re supposed to upgrade with whoever gave it to you. If this was your package manager, that would be the way to upgrade.
Homebrew says it is the latest version.
I have reinstalled manually and the update worked.
Yeah, if you install via homebrew, homebrew will manage the updates as well. If you install the binary from github, that will upgrade automatically.
