can I run multiple identities on a single machine?

Can I run multiple entities on a single machine? If so how do the ports and home dirs etc map themselves and not trample over each other?

I don’t see this documented in detail anywhere? It is referenced as a possibility in the FAQ with a remark to lookup the config file docs, but I see no actual reference to it in the config file docs?

Can somebody summarise or lay out the required changes. please?

You only need to define -home option like for example: syncthing -home="/home/alex/.config/syncthing-2" to point it to another config folder. Ports can be changed in the created config.xml or via gui.
