On my device (unrooted Motorola Z Play, Android 7.1.1), the Syncthing startup time has been reduced from approx 5-6 seconds to 2-3 seconds.
It’s noticeable. Thanks for the upgrade.

2-3 seconds seems pretty slow actually, on my Nexus 5 it takes less than one second.
