I am going to be dealing with too much data for now to run traditional backups. I’ll try to correct that soon but at least with versioning on there is much less chance of a catastrophic loss. The “archives” themselves will generally only be read from unless we are talking about adding new files.
Plus, if older copies are placed in a sub-folder when versioning is enabled, I can link them to save on a separate disk for the added precaution against hardware failure.
