3 macs, 1 fail

Installed from dmg on these:

MacBook Air: Monterey 12.7.6 (21H1320) (13-inch, 2017) 1.8 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5

MacBook Pro: Monterey 12.7.6 (21H1320) (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) 2.7 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5

iMac: Sonoma 14.7.1 (23H222) (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019) 3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5

Installed to Applications/Utilities except MBAir;

On MBAir first install created the Sync folder, but no apparent activity; then I removed the app, reinstalled on Applications/Utilities, rebooted; still does not show on the menubar (the others do); still does not appear in Activity Monitor (the others do);

Having entered the respective Identification strings on the iMac and MBPro, and hit Rescan All, there is no apparent activity so far (about an hour); Each machine’s Remote Devices says “Connected (Unused)”

Ideas? TIA

Please post screenshots of the Syncthing Web GUI from all devices. Specifically, please make sure to include the part under “This Device” with “Listeners” and “Discovery”. You can also click both of the two and post screenshots of what you see there.

Please ignore the above. As explained below by @chaos, your devices are connected but now you need to share folders between them.

Connected (Unused) sounds like you have the Devices communicating but don’t have any Folders shared between them. See An Intro to the GUI — Syncthing documentation .

SUCCESS! Add Folder>Sharing: checkbox to connect, folder named, click, bang, it works.

No idea why the MBAir won’t run this marvel…
